He’s coaching Knockaderry aswell this year.
He’ll be 35 this year.
Didn’t know that. A busy man.
My mate is an S&C and has been with two senior clubs. It’s a paid job, or should be if the club’s will actually give you the money they owe is how he puts it.
Did he work behind the bar in Setrights and was also with Davy in Wexford? If same fella I’m thinking of, sound guy.
Both clubs or just the hurling club?
If Na Piarsaigh have everyone back for the seniors, this could be the year they actually go and win the Intermediate too.
If any of those experienced heads drop down, added to the younger fellas who have got senior experience in recent years, they’ll have a very strong that team at that grade.
Could you be looking at something like this to line out at Intermediate?
Kevin Ryan
Niall Buckley Kieran Kennedy John Fitzgerald
Gearoid Synott James O’Brien JJ Carey
Sean Long Evan Gilvarry
Adam McNamara Alan Dempsey David Breen
Dylan Lynch Pat Gleeson James Daly
And that’s not even taking into account the Dow.
Is that the same Alan Kilcoyne from Old Christians in Limerick, hurled underage with Limerick? A brother of the rugby player? Think he’s a school principal out there around Adare now
Is he not from Bruff?
Downes is back hurling well. That’s the main positive from tonight.
Still a lot to offer at club level
The very man I’d say.
No. Ballinacurra.
Interesting
I played Astro turf footie with Alan through lads I knew on a Tuesday evening a few years back, a nice player. A good athlete. I always thought they were from out the county all the time.
He was very good, some excellent shooting from out of he field. Adrian Breen shot the lights out and David Dempsey looked a league above every other player on the field, in the first half at least. McEvoy was also very good and will be a great addition.
We won’t get too excited, it was fair cold out there. The smart lads went over the other side out of the wind. Took me three pints to warm up after.
No, but plenty to be optimistic about. The pints sound smashing. I’ve the covid the covid today sadly, negative yesterday.
Wonder will Dempsey get back in with Limerick yet
