Was at the Mungret game, thought it was excellent standard some excellent score taking on both sides, Liberties up six before halftime , Mungret responded superbly with 4 final scores of the half . Likewise Mungret started the second half on fire to go 5 up . Liberties responded with a goal and three. Mungret got back in the lead and led at full time by 2 going into extra time Liberties pulled back two to level. From the puck out from the equalizing point Rory Duff grabbed it from the sky and shot over. I think I have that right as it was a lively affair . One small point the referee was a little picky and did not allow any contact in the second half - gave freeās for minimal contact which didnāt help the flow of the game.

Much better football ref, IMO.
Always found him ok for hurling too, in fairness.
Iād have himself & Halloran as the two most consistently good refs. Just think he communicates well, and generally I donāt find him too picky.
His first half was excellent , but for some reason pulled every contact in the second half
I only got in 2 minutes before half-time.
One of the juniors told me that libs should have been further ahead.
Our lot just about deserved the win, got 7 more pointe in the second half.
A huge pity that antnee did not get to hit that free. Might have rivalled the bouncers rrow video
Paul OāBrien I think , gave an exhibition of score taking in the second half. Barry Duff also very impressiveā Mungret the better hurlers and better structured team, worked well off their own puck outs, and had a better skill level. Liberties though physically stronger were a little slower and relied on more direct ball than Mungret.
