Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now šŸ

I think Mark is prone to exaggeration.

Cork men over exaggerating and over conflating things??

Never.

I was at a conference last week where guy gave a presentation about something he had worked on (massively exaggerated, obviously). His opening slide was all about himself, this after he had been introduced and a bio he had supplied was read outā€¦ He had a map of Ireland with Cork highlighted in red and he said he was from ā€˜the real capitalā€™.

Imagine thinking ā€œI know, Iā€™ll open with this, Iā€™ll have them in the palm of my handā€¦ā€

They just donā€™t get it.

Ye have the Dubs coming to town in the football league next year.

Good for the football folk in the county to have that fixture at home.

The Dubs will get the warmest of welcomes in Rathkeale

A lot of the Dublin players will feel right at home.

Be even better when we get a management team in place.

I hear the Ballybrown hurling manager is getting the Limerick football managers job.

It has been rumoured alright, be a fairly disappointing selection

Thatā€™s what I thought

More important to know who are the coaches and s&c

Thereā€™s surely someone from Kerry lookin for an intercounty job.

Too true.

Anthony Maher so

Thereā€™s only one man for the job.

Ballysimon Tyres would be flat out

He wasnā€™t the first choice by all accounts, but they are running out of names and wonā€™t pay for an outsider.

There was a plea put out to delegates at the football board meeting last week, that if they had any names to let the board know asap.

Hoping it wonā€™t be, but seems highly likely. An appointment Iā€™d find it very hard to warm to myself. Doesnā€™t strike me as the type of person who would get all the best footballers on the field.

Iā€™m surprised it wasnā€™t Declan Brouder. did well with UL & NCW last year and has done well with U21s at a few points.
