Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now 🐐

We should put 3-32 on the jersey when we play Cork

You surely put a star on the jersey for every all Ireland you’ve won. The likes of Kilkenny wouldn’t have room.

Derek loves shooting his mouth off prior to a championship.

Waterford will be going up those steps.

Jesus christ.

Stars on any GAA jersey is very rubby union like behaviour and therefore should be frowned upon

Its only a geansai, if they want to put polka dots on it what harm

Stand alone All Irelands are standard. They’re great and all and we’ll never turn them down, but when you’ve gotten used to a diet of Fillet Steak it’s difficult to go back to the Rib Eye

Ah stop it’s cringey. Leinster were rightly mocked for doing it

Lots of people were telling him that they were going to be contenders in fairness.

Very harsh on Del. He did say whoever bate Waterford would win it… He was correct.

Those stars are close, these stars are far away

Kerry did it right classy when they did the jersey

Big fan of the new jersey. Best we’ve had since the 2011-13 iteration methinks.

I wouldn’t be opposed to a Serie A style crest or badge on the jersey of the all Ireland champions for the following year.

Maybe a subtle Celtic cross somewhere

Its a soccer thing. The rubby doing it too is shocking

Like on the centenary jerseys in 1984.

In situ in Coolyroe for Munster Junior Football as Castlemahon host Waterford’s Shamrocks.

Excitement building as what the people want is a Seamie Flanagan vs David Clifford battle in two weeks time.

You’re more deserving of a sponsored car than Buff :joy:

A serious half of football, end-to-end, fast-paced. Shamrocks lead Castlemahon 1-8 to 0-8.

Poor start from Castlemahon, conceded a soft goal and fell 6 points behind but have responded very well. They were playing against the wind in the first half.

Shamrocks have two Hynes in attack, Billy and Edward, who have been very good kicking points and Shamrocks have been better at kicking the ball into their full-forward line.

Any time Castlemahon kick the ball in, they’ve turned the ball over. They’ve been better running it through and have some powerful runners in the Flanagans, Alan Roche, Mike Fitz.

Shamrocks also hit the post after Edward Hynes roasted Niall Kennedy and have had the greater goal threat. Castlemahon struggling on kickouts. Everything is long and loopy, always a defender’s ball.

Although it appears to have been credited to Jack Kenny by the commentary team, I’m pretty sure Mike Fitz kicked the first point, Kenny definitely isn’t playing. Alan Roche has two lovely points from play and I think a free to, Reidy has a point.

Seamie kicked a lovely free off the ground from 40m and from the kickout, kicked a lovely score from play too after getting one earlier on.

Very enjoyable contest so far, all to play for with a fair breeze.

Flanagan buries the ball in the top corner! Classy finish.
