Supporters groups are for rugby fans. They probably liken a journey to thurles the same way a Munster fan bangs on about travelling to Cardiff for a game.

Cathal Downes is very unlucky not to be in with the senior hurling team maybe he picked football Im not sure as that was his first sport.
He was excellent last year for us and done a very good job on Adam English bar one score in the doon game. Iād have him well ahead of a number of players on the squad. His hurling mightnāt be the best but heās phenomenal interest and would have improved a lot under kinnerk and kiely. He might have been similar to hegarty or William o Donghue or even Conor boylan.
It would have been huge for our senior team as well because Barry o Connell and Darren o Connell improved a lot from their stints with the senior hurling panel.
Itās a nice little earner for the county board I suppose when ye remit the subscription fee x couple of thousand members. Fair play lad

Was just listening to an Our Game video released today on YouTube previewing the league games this weekend, and Michael Verney said that he has heard Dowling is back on the Limerick panel as a goalkeeper. So that seems to be confirmed

Heās a brilliant talent, if he was in goal tomorrow night v clare, twould put another few thousand again on the gate. Id be very intrigued to see him in goal at that level. Mad to see Nicky challenged by a guy at his level as well.
