The minor and u20 fixtures are far from ideal, they mirror each other the whole way through. Minors playing in Waterford on Tuesday with the u20s playing down there on Wednesday.

They won’t all fit on the one helicopter mate

You hardly think we have only one helicopter.

Shane O’Brien gone back to the 20s?

I wouldn’t say “gone back” but I suppose if he’s not starting this weekend (and obviously Gillane & Boylan probably do need starts), no point overusing him before Wednesday.

He wasn’t in squad last week either i think?

No but he had 2 starts & a sub appearance before that and I think he showed enough to suggest he’ll be a viable option.

No need to flog him.

I didn’t mean it in a derogatory fashion. It makes sense he’d be given more time with his own age.

Adam English in the same boat.

No Iain Corbett for the footballers, he got injured late on v Meath. A big loss.

Interesting team for the hurling. Barry Murphy at midfield seems to be something they’ll persist with. He’s a spiky little hoor, he’ll certainly get through the work in there. The management are big fans of Conor Boylan but would be surprising to see him as an orthodox inside forward.

Gillane back - :fire::fire::fire::clap::clap::clap:

No Finn or Lynch in the 26 - injured/rested?

Obviously with the changed format, it means that the 20s players will be spending more time away from the senior setup.

He’ll be a massive player for the 20s obviously, as will English. You could potentially be looking at them as your two wing-forwards (or one outside, one at 14).

Just the fourteen medallists. Could be a tough afternoon for the Wexicans.
