The squad was given a week off after the Clare game. Many of the players were abroad.

Only players who didnât start the last day were involved.
4 players âsent offâ, or management teams told to remove them from the field to be exact about it, 2 from each side. Paul Browne got a bad injury apparently.
Wexford had their strongest 15 out and they were taken apart by Pat Simon and Malachy.
Downes ran riot. Hegarty was wing back.

About time too.
Browne is a major loss. OâDonoghue the next recognised midfielder but has only been used by limerick at wing back. Is OâLoughlin the only other cover? Maybe Hickey but thatâs unlikely.
