Here,
Now that Cork have won, are we all heading for Franks playpin in a fortnight or has that to be decided?
PS. Are you hitting Carlow next week?

Will be in Carlow next weekend.

Depending on what day itā€™s fixed for (Saturday hopefully) will do an overnight stay.

Hope to see you, @anon26343222 @chops91 and @Watchyourtoes there!

Iā€™ll be grand pal, waiting to see what way the dates fall first.

Last time I was in Carlow was for a 21st maybe 13/14 years ago. Feeling old.

Going into the All Ireland series in the long grass is a good place to be.

Except until every single pundit in the lead up to the game will all say the same thing:

ā€œLimerick will be hurting from the Clare gameā€
ā€œLimerick will have a point to proveā€
ā€œLimerick will be the fresher teamā€
ā€œGiven the year Limerick have had, Limerick wonā€™t fear XX at this stageā€
ā€œLimerick are in bonus territory, nothing to loseā€

Carlow?
We never feared Carlow even though we have NEVER beaten them in Championship hurling.

I went to a league match there
Twas around 2011 Iā€™d say
OGRADY was in charge

We definitely played there for a league match around then alright but I didnā€™t go for whatever reason.

Also think we played in Carlow in a couple of football qualifiers a good ten years ago or more, one of which was televised live if I recall correctly. Didnā€™t make those either.

Was it a challenge match we played in 2010 that we lost to Carlow? Prompted the greatest Hitler parody video to be found on the INTERNET.

Either team in next weeks replay will probably play to lose and not bother knackering themselves out. A quarter final against a minnow like Limerick wonā€™t faze either of these two. Itā€™s the tiredness and possibility of picking up an injury for their next match would be their biggest concern with us. They both laugh at Limerick.
