Who goes to the corner if Finn is out? Hickey would be worth a shot there, heâs done well there before.
Are we looking at Richie Mc coming back into 3? The NaP players have been a big disappointment and you can see why they might be dropped. With KK /Gal on the cards, we will need lads who will stand up. (cue slippy Hickey jokes)

Iâd say a lot of the nap players are shattered. Very difficult to break into a winning team. If finn doesnât make it I presume it will be richie e, richie mc and Casey.

If Mike Casey does drop out Kiely looks very foolish. Hickey backed all the way at full back despite all evidence to the contrary and McCarthy couldnât get a look, or English couldnât get a run there. Hickey finally dropped and Casey comes in. Condon and then McCarthy then somehow jump ahead of Hickey who is now persona non grata. If McCarthy now jumps ahead of Casey the selections really look bananas.

Itâs not really. Those in possession of the jersey are kept until they done something stupid or else played poorly. Seamus hickey only started ahead of mike Casey for one game v tipp. He wasnât available for the league. Condon came on for finn at corner back not fullback. Iâm not sure what relevance that has to do with hickey.
Finn, Casey and English are all good but Iâm not gone on them as a unit. Finn is quality corner back, Casey is a bombscare in possession and possibly not quite there physically yet but a very good organizer and in general a good defender and richie English is a full back playing in the corner. There very small and not the quickest.
how did Casey play poorly. Clare got 4 points from play from their inside line all Conlon. I canât recall Casey giving away that many fouls.
