Limerick GAA - All-Ireland senior hurling champions 2018

I donā€™t get the Malachy fandom, heā€™s not near a start yet for me. Is Oā€™Donovan injured?

Double negative ??

Malachy would be a great sub for the hb line or full forward line. Fuck it malachy to cb hannon back in the forwards!

Bit of a sore leg. Could have played but makes sense to rest him for this one.

With WOD starting, weā€™re thin at midfield/half-back cover. I agree that heā€™s not ready to start but should be worth making the 26. Iā€™d certainly rate him higher than POL or BOC.

Lovely little acronyms creeping into Limerick GAAā€¦

Itā€™s too late and too warm

Hon Bar!

Limerick fans love Colin Ryan ā€œMalachyā€ because

  1. Heā€™s a bould cunt
  2. He has a lovely style about him
  3. Thereā€™s a bit of cut to him
  4. Heā€™s actually a lovely hurler
  5. Very down to earth sound lad

He canā€™t make the 26 because he doesnā€™t have the pace to play in the forwards, and doesnā€™t have the size to make up for that shortage of pace. He doesnā€™t have the engine for midfield.

His most likely position would be half back as heā€™s actually very good in the air facing the ball. I think thatā€™s where he played his best underage Hurling too.

That U21 final in Ennis is one of the main reasons Limerick fans love him, he was unbelievable inside corner forward that night. Similar in style as a forward to Barry Murphy of Doon actually

On another note, Iā€™m being told that Hugh Murphy who is the PRO isnā€™t sending out the media updates? The new IT officer is doing that. Is this true and has the great Hugh been shafted by the new boy? (Not literally I hope.)

They had to get in the new IT officer because the PRO was so inept sure. They literally made up a postion so that he could do the job for the other fella

Iā€™m going to make a bold prediction and say that Tom Condon will never again wear the green and white. Kiely should also drop Hickey in my opinion.

But isnā€™t it a paid position? Phelan didnā€™t exactly fill you with confidence. The last decent one was Sandra Marsh. Top class.

They should give the lad that runs the Milford GAA site the job.

Close your hole, Tom Condon is a warrior and will play again.

Iā€™d forgotten that video.

The memory of Justin McCarthyā€™s reign of terror gives me serious ire.

Oh donā€™t go there. What makes it worse is we managed to make a semi under him

Tbf, he hasnā€™t been tried inside at the highest level. Heā€™s not the most natural forward but heā€™s so good in the air and heā€™s so direct.

Iā€™d say heā€™d be very good half-back, he gets his head up too.
