Limerick GAA - All-Ireland senior hurling champions 2018

Agreed. Kevin something or other. The IT officer will only be interested in the big stuff.

True enough, he will play again but not for Limerick seniors. Heā€™ll play for Knockaderry or maybe transfer to Granagh like his girlfriend.

Heā€™ll play for the Limerick seniors again. Enough about that.

John Kiely will throw him in when weā€™re looking to wind down the clock on the 19th of August

To be fair to phelan he was very good at the updates at any match he was at (and still is on his own account). But probably not the most media savvy!

Good assessment. Donā€™t think heā€™s ready yet but he is definitely one for the future.

Yep, Browne is a big loss. We need a sub at midfield at 50 minutes at the latest.

Flanagan will do wreck.

A few people owe @AppleCrumbled an apology. He was right about finn and dod and Dowling.

You said Casey and Dowling drop out if I recall correctly ā€¦

But you also said Finn and DOD were yet to prove their fitnessā€¦ I presume the guilty parties will be man enough to say they were wrong.

Is dowling the same lad ye used to call THE DOW when he was going well?

I think the team is along expected lines; Richie Mac at full-back would be the only one Iā€™d question really.

When (or if) Finn comes back in; is it going to be for him? Who will be full-back then?

Think we all expected Gillane back in tbh.

Never heard of him. Must be some lad from one of the small junior clubs in the West.

Nervous lads? I donā€™t read all the threads but I havenā€™t noticed Wexford going into such forensics ahead of their crunch tie this weekend.

You are Limerick GAAā€™s answer to Graham Hunter . You have great sources .

Thatā€™s because they know theyā€™re only making up the numbers.

Not true, everybody else knows it but not them

Richie Mac worming his way back in again

I make this the third year in a row he didnā€™t start the championship as first choice full back, but did end it that way?

Just when you thought he was out, they pull him back in

Richie is only getting fit this time of the year.

Probably harsh on Dowling, it would seem Flanagan canā€™t fire beside him and we arenā€™t playing to Dowlings strengths. He wasnā€™t great the last day but definitely played better than Mulcahy or Flanagan. Kiely going back to what was working, which makes sense. But what works against Cork wonā€™t necessarily work against KK or Galway. Different type of beast altogether.
