It will be a Galway Limerick final. Galway will easily dispose of Clare/Wexford and I fancy us to take Cork after walking over the Cats.
Itās a big ask on ageing players to produce it two or three weeks running. Last year against Limerick, a returning Mick Fennelly was MOTM. A week later against Waterford he didnāt get a belt of it and was withdrawn around half time in his last championship game. Richie Hogan looked good today initially but had a very poor last 15 minutes. Walter Walsh will be the really big loss for Kilkenny if that injury is as bad as initially feared. Heās become a very important player for them.
Good result from yesterday. Lynch MOTM for me. A couple of small questions asked of Byrnes but on the big day heāll never let you down. A lot of lovely hurlers on that team and no-one will want to meet them, least of all a tired KK team.
As an aside, KK are a filthy bunch of fuckers and that prick Hogan is as dirty a player as you get.
Could easily be a LK/GY final now.
Need to keep the wides down to have a chance.
Nail on head. And its not cody its just the way they are, might get outclassed but never give up or choke really. They are average enough but if clare could close yere space down id be fearful
Thatās where we have to be careful. Few lads of ours are edgy enough and this season had told us that they have a bit to learn about keeping the head. The likes of Byrnes will need to learn to keep cool.
Byrnes has a cooler head than most pal. He has a very good temperment on the field.
Not too sure about that
Be no quarter given, but heās not a timber merchant either in fairness to him.
I think the Tipperary, Cork and Waterford games are a fairer reflection of where Limerick are. Letās be honest only for the two sloppy goals conceded it was a 13 point beating today.
Iād prefer to play Kilkenny in PUC than Thurles.
I donāt know why but Iād be more confident playing them there.
KK havenāt played much down there outside of the league Iād say. PUC has been a relatively happy hunting ground for us in recent years too. Always a better day out down in Cork as well.
Makes fuck all of a difference to the teams though really.
Yeah youāre probably right.
Thurles has been a bit of graveyard for Limerick teams bar the odd win here and there.Iiām emotionally scarred i think from leaving that place after matches.
I heard today that that was the Carla B team Limerick played. All the good lads fecked off to America after the McDonagh final.
This fella can fuck right off.

Are they planning on playing it behind doors in Cork?
Weāve been in Thurles an awful lot the last few years wouldnāt mind a change
Ahane beat Kilteely/Dromkeen in the East too; a bit of a shock.
Ballybrown beat Croom by a point in the junior football too.
Still sour over getting ousted from the football job ?
Hopefully it is in Cork. Iād like to see the new PĆ”irc.
