Askeaton have had serious injury blows the past week. Theyâll do well to keep it pucked out to Rathkeale.
Down a couple of our big lads for both those and Rathkeale are a bit of an unknown at this stage. Waiting all year for a game and they fuck on two in less than a week. Depending on other results we could go through regardless but a win tonight and we have a great shot at top and we are definitely through. New format means straight through to a semi for top and even if you lost that a second crack at making county because three go through this year.

I think I probably did a big thing on this before but if you got 20 or 24 Junior A teams in 4 groups youâd have a serious Championship.

Kilmallock, Stakers, Castletown/Ballyagran from the South.
Doon, Kilteely/Dromkeen, Ballybricken/Bohermore & Caherline from the East.
Patrickswell, Crecora, Ballybrown & Christians from the City.
Thatâs 20 teams you could throw in the likes of Mungret, Bruff, Adare, Ahane if you wanted to bring it to 24.

They should have divisions of 8 the whole way down. Theirs an amount of teams hanging around junior A whoâd be well beaten by decent junior b sides, but wonât go down out of pride
