I predicted Galway to win today by one score. I was as least as close as you in getting it right. Possibly even closer. I donāt recall you predicting a margin of victory for Clare over this Galway team of All Ireland champions that you rubbish non-stop.
Chocolatemice predicted Clare by 5 I think and tbf their performance merited it. They were very slow out of the blocks today and found themselves 9 down but were far the better team from the 18th minute on.

That was something else. A special victory.
I thought we were gone. Unbelievable character to come back. Scarcely credible the resolve they showed.
The Kilkenny match was stressful but this was a few levels above that. It was only when David Reidy put over his point I was comfortable. Doing Brendan Bugler fist pumps for a good ten mins after full time. With the odd guttural roar thrown in too.
Will have to watch it back again but I donāt think we played all that brilliantly. Heart and spirit never in doubt but fairly loose at times, gave away a few poor scores. Plenty to work on which is a nice way to go into three weeks time.
An All-Ireland final. I still canāt believe it. Weāve come from nowhere compared to the last few seasons.

FAO the forumā¦ The bauld bomber Griffin was sat in front of me and Phil and we were watching /conversing/cursing/celebrating together.
When we got the peno I was shouting to put it over but bomber said no, ānow you bury themā ā¦ And so it came to be.

Back in February up in Tullmore after we beat Offaly I turned to @chops91 and said never know man we could be standing in the Hill on AI final day in August,we are there now the dreams still alive,6 pts down with less than ten minutes to go I said to myself this is gone and another year that the journey was ending and the wait would continueā¦ One last charge yet.
