Balla are raffling 2 tickets & 2 return train tickets; âŹ5 a line.
Serious chance for clubs to make a bit of cash.

The right names will come out of the raffle
Distribution of all Ireland tickets are nearly always awful sources of resent , bitterness and even departures at GAA clubs .
I expect no difference this time .
It shouldnât be really.
Chairman, secretary, treasurer and managers of various teams from adult to u10âs should all be looked after, adult club players where possible too.
Of whatâs left throw everyone else into the hat and good luck.
Donât give any to the football clubs. Problem solved.
A few lads will be praying Kerry get to the football final to swapâŚ
It can be tough⌠we had a meeting about it the other night. Weâve got a ridiculous number of requests already, including from lots of non-club members. We donât know what allocation weâll get, maybe only around 100.
What can you do except draw them out of a hat?
In an ideal world I would be a billionaire and married to Cindy Crawford .
Non paid up club members should be told to fuck off for a start.
It is hard in reality. Always competing demands . Sponsors and benefactors , players , committee , wives , selectors , genuine members . There are no fish and loaves . I donât envy club secretaries all over Lk the next few weeks .
Donât know the figures but senior hurling clubs will get the most, even more if they are a dual club. Then premier intermediate clubs, intermediate and then junior. Obviously if youâve a player(s) on the panel youâll get more too.
Iâm sure Spike will disperse them in a democratic mannerâŚ
Anyone who sponsored the boxing fund raiser last December should be prioritised too.
If Galway win the replay , I assume they get more as they are in the minor .
Surely limerick GAA wouldnt stoop to this most hated practise associated with the rubby
I was secretary of my club the last time we reached the final in 2007.
I nearly ended up in 5B as a result.
We had the usual lotto in 2007 (pretty aure everyone was sorted out in the end), be different this time though as Clare or Galway will be looking for a lot more tickets than Kilkenny given the population.
Clare will make it a disaster for tickets.
Weâre getting 16600 I think?
Itâll be easier if itâs Galway as thereâll only be 3 counties represented on the day.
I reckon club members will, by and large, be ok actually. The Centra/SuperValu shit hit clubs hard as membership levels dropped when people could by tickets in shops. Most clubs should be able to cater for their members this time round once they stick to the principle of members first.
The initial allocation to Limerick in 07 was around 9,500. Itâll be around 15k this time and more will drift back as the game approaches. If I recall correctly we got 65 stand and 60 terrace in the first divvy-up. We got another 15 of each on the Monday before the final and, by Thursday, there was another 50 or 60 made available.
They do travel when their going well. Massive crowd of them in Harcourt st last Saturday night.
