See normally Iād agree. But weāve already got stories from people who were down in Mallow and up in Cushendall, genuine Limerick supporters but not club members. Or fellas who have been going for years but stopped paying club membership over the past year or so. Or wives/girlfriends of members.
But if you start making exceptions, youāve not got a lot of ground to stand on.
But even if we were to give tickets to executive, underage mentors, adult mentors, fundraisers and playersā¦ I donāt think weād have the allocation. And youād still have people complaining.
Ive been told I canāt have the 19th off,il be getting the Doctor cert which should do the job.

Maybe go in the Wednesday or something take 4-5 days.
The season ticket is a Godsend on occasions like this. Stress taken out of it. For the price itās actually not great value (ā¬120) - it worked out as seven league games for us and the Tipp championship match was free too. Fiver off for each subsequent championship match.
Has paid off now though being guaranteed a final ticket if youāve attended more than a certain percentage of the above matches - think itās 60%.

I donāt know what club you are but weāve got roughly 250 paid-up members, and weād have more that have an annual lotto subscription.
Surely wonāt have enough for everyone.
Iām not too worried myself, even if I donāt get one through the club, Iād expect to get one elsewhere. Itās just all the complaining, itās going to do my head in. I canāt even imagine what a club secretary would have to put up with.

I thought it also gave you the chance to buy one were Limerick to get there but apparently not. I remember thinking that it was going to be fair handy.
The biggest issue I faced in 07 was apes going around making promises they couldnāt keep. Thereās fellas like them in every club. We had one particular offender who couldnāt go outside the door without acting the big man and telling people heād look after them.
Tried to throw his weight around with me too. That ended badly for himā¦

The Club Limerick membership draw and season ticket?
Poor Siobhan is going to get some amount of grovelling phone calls and emails over the next few weeks! (Myself included)
Didnāt have a ticket for the Final in 07 until the Friday night before the match. Went back to Ballyheigue to collect em
Iāll relax about tickets until the week before. If Iāve none got the Tuesday before Iāll start worrying.

Iāve made the decision to head up on the Friday with or without a ticketā¦ Iāve already called dibs on the first ticket to come inside the door of our house. The father gets the 2nd if there is one

Iām a member of the Club Limerick draw, and have one of those season tickets that get sold you into all games under the jurisdiction of Limerick County Board.
Siobhan has already confirmed that Iām not entitled to buy a ticket by way of that.
Could be wrong but Iād imagine most clubs will be only holding their ticket draw on the Monday or Tuesday night of match week.

The Monday or Tuesday. More tickets always come out then Thursday and Friday.
