Limerick GAA - Box Office

I only know because we are the same age, tbf he looked 25 when he was 14

This thread was originally started about football. So fuck off out of it with your hurling talk

Every football in Limerick should be burst.

Kerry can take West Limerick. We’ll keep Adare.

Are you a member of the football board by any chance?

He sounds a bit too moderate

Haha I’m only messing lads, enjoy your football.

Alan Cunningham now officially part of the Backroom Team as ‘Goalkeeping Coach’, though I’m told he is doing a nice bit of team coaching along with Kinnerk and Quilty. The feedback on Kinnerk is hugely positive. Makes things so simple and straight forward and is very clear in his message. The players love training under him. Quilty & Cunningham adding nice variety to sessions aswell. The vibes are very good.

Robbie Egan has withdrawn from the panel for ‘personal reasons’. @balbec is this lad the type who just doesn’t like the levels of commitment involved with inter county. Kevin O’Donnell seemed to be the same. Nothing wrong with that either I suppose.

Added to this we also have a manager that can “manage” the players personalities and egos. Everything thing is looking so positive at the moment I’m actually worried.

Go with it mate, there’s nothing wrong with experiencing joy every now and then.

I’m not, it’s only mid January, plenty of time for it all to go wrong

Possibly. I was surprised that Robbie was called up. But he was probably our best forward last year. If he was going to make it he would have been called up a few years ago.

Lads wettin their pants after beating the waherford B team in the first week of January,I would say you couldn’t make it up but that would be a lie.

Shush, why would you ruin this? Let them be, its more fun this way.

Wetting pants after game and wanting manager sacked after 20 mins. If you want rational thought sonny , look elsewhere.

Jim-Bob is back. Yurt.

I think we all knew he’d be back, but it’s still a boost. It’s all well and good having a few nice tippy tappy hurlers, but you need warriors like Jim-Bob too. Gets on some amount of ball, could play him midfield, or he could do a Dan McCormack-esque job in the half-forward line. Could be a good impact sub too, come on and add a bit of physicality.

The Jim-Bob stare must be worth at least two points for the intimidation factor alone.

James Ryan’s days of playing midfield are gone. He’s a good lad to have in and around the panel alright but he should by right he doing well to make our starting team if we are going anywhere this year.

He was always going to be back after christmas…his dedication to the cause is unreal.

Play him full forward and whack it into him? Could be another Owen O’Neill…

He’s a decent footballer as well. O Neill scored with every part of his body, not so often with the stick.

Please God. Things are shit when everything is going well.
