Kyle hayes is arguably the find of the league. If some of the other lads had the same work rate and aggression as him - Hannon, two lynches etc, we’d be in a much better place. He’s very young but it would be very harsh not to give him a chance next week from the start.
Back to what he is capable off? Which is? He hasn’t pucked a ball in 5 years for limerick.

I agree. He doesnt seem to have turned into the hurler we thought he was going to be. His attempt at a point in thurles last year against clare when we had them by the throat was pathetic. Junior b hurler would be barred from the local pub for a year for it.

I would be very reluctant to start Nash against Galway. I have no doubt that he will start for us in the Championship, and he’ll work his way back in but he has to back it up with performances. Give him a run off the bench against Galway, and if he goes well, maybe give him a start in the quarters.
We know he has the ability hurling-wise, he’ll need to put in the effort off the pitch too.
I’d also have Lynch on the bench for that game, he hasn’t had a good year for Limerick so far but seemed to do alright for Mary I. Hopefully he’s back on form for the Championship.
Hayes, Hegarty, Dempsey deserve starts imo.
English and Dowling need as much game time as possible - Need to nail half backs down from here on also.

Quick question, if a club hosts a County Championship match or any fixture where you have to pay to get in, who gets the gate receipts?
