Limerick GAA - Box Office

I’m not sure if it’s an inferiority complex, narcissism or just the need to feel loved. Probably a mixture of all three. Really letting the Queens county reputation down

No.

Galway were nothing special really. More physical than us, better in the air but outside of Canning and Burke, they didn’t have much up front either. But two top players firing can be enough. They started very badly, but they upped the intensity between in the second part of the first half and that’s when they won it really. During that period, they totally dominated and reeled off a load of scores.

Second half, both sides were poor. We made the wrong decision time after time, but Galway struggled to get in front aswell. They have a lot of improving to do aswell, but I suppose they know what they can do in the Championship already while we’re still wondering.

Ah fuck. I just logged in to post that.
From the club of the county treasurer

There is no better comedy entertainment than Limerick hurling supporters in March. Just missed promotion but almost firing on all cylinders for the championship. Massive competition for starting places. Dowling looking trim. Only a matter of time.

Care to name the 6?

@carryharry just made a mistake pal. The classy thing would be to leave it go, I’m certain he’d do the same for you or me or @The_Most_Infamous or anybody really.

It would be the classy thing to do alright but I do enjoy calling an absolute spoofer to task. Looking forward to seeing who he lists as the 6! He will no doubt try to come out with some other waffle to try and deflect away from answering the question!

Laois are playing Cork Joe?

What the fuck would a garage dogsbody know about college, not to mind the social lives of young students these days, will ye give him a break lads, he has a fairly sizeable chip on his overalls

No change to the hurling league structure in 2018.

If Antrim get promoted we’ll get another road trip to Ballycastle next year. :pint: :ronnyroar:

Confirmed? Good stuff.1B will be even stronger next year!

Nailing my colours to the Carlow mast, though I only love an excuse to head up north. :pint:

There’s something fun about 1B. I feel sorry for all the “elite” counties who don’t get to see the good work we do with the Third World.

Matt O’Callaghan leading the complaints, a lot of people don’t seem to like the current format.

I know we’ve done it to death on here, but it’s as good a format as you could get bar maybe the quarter-finals. But I don’t really think that’s a huge issue. Okay, Offaly & Tipp will probably learn nothing from their game, maybe both sides would be happier if Tipp were just given a bye. But if the weaker counties do improve, I think an extra game will do them good. I mean Laois had a crack off Galway a couple of times in the past 5 years, think they ran Clare close in the league too.

Two equally seeded groups of six or seven was a great proposal that ticked all the boxes.

Doesn’t have the same competitive angle.

Both groups would have at least 1 team that would be getting hammered every week, except this time it wouldn’t be Limerick & Galway doing it, it’d be Tipperary & Kilkenny aswell. And those weaker teams wouldn’t even have matches against teams their own level to really aim at.
