Please God that Minor team is beaten fairly quick. With the way the management team and County Board are fucking around with allowing players play with their clubs, whispering in their ear to not tog out, there’ll be fuck all matches played by teams with players involved (or forced to play without them like what happened last week) . Everyone in the club I’m involved with and my home club will be praying they are beaten, that’s the reality.

All jokes aside, all clubs who are sucessful have this dilemma…its ten times worse for clubs without county lads on their panels having games called off.

I’m not sure I get your gag about the club in Tipp… But anyway, I’m just being honest. From a purely club-based point of view the sooner they are beaten, the better. I would not have this point of view if the County management side were not pulling players from playing with their club sides on the sly, which they are doing. At least the U21 Football Management didn’t try to hide it. It’s an awful thing to do to young lads of 18 years of age
I understand your frustration…it literally comes back to incompetent, or disinterestered county/divisional board officials with regards to those fixtures.
More often then not, v little thought is put into it at that level…for even a dual senior club as an example…football and hurling are often scheduled over a 3 day period or worse on a Saturday and Sunday together.
I know your point is different, but it is v related to the lack of coherent scheduling of matches.
Its endemic across the GAA as a whole nationwide.
I was reading the comments from the little fella from Portumna who sells automobiles. He does not seem to rate Limerick in the slightest. It must be small man syndrome!!
Do you have to be a small man to not rate Limerick GAA? Is there other criteria available also? Is there some venn diagram available on this?
It was the vitriol in the comments that make me think he is a little angry.
He has a right to his opinion and loads of people don’t rate Limerick, including Limerick fans. However the word irony must have been done the day Damien was out of school judging by the nuts and bolts of some of his comments on Limerick

Mind you Galway were always a great team to handle the favorites tag. They are no better than us at shitting themselves however when it comes to fans expectations we are the world leaders in unrealistic expectations.
