+1. The players tried their level best and they should be respected and left to regroup for the qualifiers.
Some people need to chill out and look at the big picture. It’s still a hobby and something to be enjoyed rather than endured.
From a supporter’s perspective it’s about meeting up with friends and family, renewing old acquaintances, having a few pints and watching the spectacle unfold. It’s not life or death.
With that in mind I’m looking forward to getting down to Wexford early enough next Saturday and win, lose or draw I’ll be out for a seafood linguine and a few glasses of white wine after the match in the park.

I thought we did fight too, kept going until the end. Maybe not cohesive enough in our tackling or maybe fit enough to constantly swarm around players and stop them getting the ball away. Although McGrath didn’t help them when they did.
Few people talking about McNamara; he is definitely the long-term goalie, a class act but there is no chance he’ll be parachuted in this year I’d say. If Quaid goes, it’ll be Hennessey and Hennessey is not as good as him.

We’re going to be drawn against a Leinster team. Wexford/Kilkenny would probably be the one to avoid.
Might be no harm getting someone like Dublin first; a team who aren’t great but who will definitely beat us if we are really shit. If we get a win under our belts, get a bit of confidence and then have a crack off whoever in the next round.
