Limerick GAA - Box Office

Agreed but that was once again as a direct result of not challenging the puck out.

The problem summed in one. When has Hickey ever been calm. We are leaderless. It was an 18 year old who seemed the one with most cojones yesterday. I thought Hannon was decent also.

The half back line in general did well.
I would have considered bringing on Galvin for the last 10 minutes for Dowling and throwing Hannon up front

Limerick progress :joy:

That hurt Joe

When will we start a ‘let’s all laugh at Limerick’ thread. :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:
Or will we wait until they’re completely gone.

Ah yea no bothers. Twas nice to get a day out with the father. First time in a while he’s had to do the driving. The advantage been , I was home in a half hour as there was no match traffic going my direction.

I’d have serious question marks regarding Dowling TBH

You could bring Nash out for Hickey, put Peter Casey in the corner and I would contemplate putting Hickey corner back. The keeper needs to go also.

Are we not supposed to be laughing all year round?

Reading some of the stuff on the other forums about how the players are a disgrace to the jersey and have no fight… we really have some amount of simpletons for fans.Missing both vice captains(the long time leaders of alot of these players) after 20 odd minutes and 8 pts down a team with 5 debutants kept battling away and chipping at Clare to the final whistle when some of the senior players around them did their best to make it a collapse and massive loss,in a young side that character is a massive trait.

Everyone around here has their own opinion on starting teams and positions one mans guaranteed starter is anothers he’s too raw and light yet for senior,I see some lads are looking to push Hickey in the corner again even though he’s back playing to a good standard at 7 and others want Tom Morrisey to start even though he has done little to nothing anytime he has had an opportunity to play. IMO the team id like to see tried for the qualifiers but definitely longterm would be:
McNamara
Finn
English
Casey
Byrnes
Hannon
Hickey
Browne
C.Lynch
Hegarty
D.Dempsey
Hayes
Casey
Dowling(here or nowhere)
Nash

My favourite is Anthony Quinlivan who always comments on the various limerick gaa Facebook pages.
The level of anger amd bile from him :joy:

Frank Murphy must be seething. A Limerick victory yesterday would have guaranteed a full house in Cork for the Munster Final regardless of opposition.

Not half as simple as the majority of Clare people mind, some of the Banner lads on the train home yesterday genuinely shocked me with how grotesque in appearance and retarded in mind they actually were, is there somewhere in the Burren these mutant men reside kind of like the Hills have eyes or that classic X-files episode about the cannibalistic family on the farm…
