To be fair to the well they won’t give a fcuk about Lk until their year ends . They should be in Munster final and after that it is hard to say. They might not get a chance like this for a while .
I was in Charleville at a family event. Turned on the radio at half four. Switched to the Chelsea Man u game after ten seconds
That is a big statement cos there have been some amount of turkeys over the years .
Absolutely realise that. There’s also the added fact that for the first time in a long time, there seems to be a relatively competent management team in place.
Was T O’Brien not dropped from the panel this year?
He withdrew himself. It still leaves Seanie & Kevin though.
How many wides had ballbowne
Ballybrown suffered a mental breakdown.
They had 12 in in the first half alone
The 3 O’Briens are lovely hurlers.
Lovely combination between Thomas and Kevin for the Wells goal.
Yeah, but it was Lar Considine that gave the final ground pass for Kevin to score.
Was sure it was Thomas with that ball across to Kevin…informative rating
Tommy won it out towards the corner, cut back outside and played across it to Considine who fed Kevin with a lovely ground stroke.
Ballybrown are an intermediate team .
Correct…you’re right.
Mark Carmody hurled some amount of ball…Barry Foley was incredibly clever as usual.
The Well always try to play hurling the right way, and are a joy to watch…though Ballybrown didn’t turn up at all.
Looked it today before the match even started…their touch was off and the wides they were hitting in the warm up were shocking.
Yeah, last year definitely stood to The Well in terms of experience. Ballybrown are better than they looked today, in fairness. Absolutely nothing broke for them. They killed themselves with wides, some of them really, really poor. The Well read the breaks way better and were in charge all over the field. Thought Nigel Foley had a fine game along with the others you mentioned. Mikey Kiely and, to an extent, Stevie O’Reilly emerged with credit for Ballybrown but too many of the others never got going.
Agree with all that…Nigel Foley had a fine game too…you could tell Ballybrown were going to try and target him as a potential weak-link in the Wells halfback line. But he really stepped up for the Well.
Ballybrown are better…maybe the occasion etc got to them as some of their wides particularly in the first half were appalling.
Carmody? Dead right. He had a great game.
Is Eoin Foley still hurling?
