The truth normally lies in the middle. Think @Watchyourtoes made a few good points about hego when were chasing games.
Very quiet around here.
the week of a match against Tipp nāall.
Usually weād have ourselves frothing at the mouth. the All Ireland has changed us
Tipp looked sharp enough against Clare, and were working hard, seemed to have a bit more done.
Still, Iād love to beat em, League or not.
Limerick is rugby country .
Itās just not the same any more.
Play a few panelists and see what they are made of.
itāll be very telling of where we are at the moment.
Iād expect us to be right there until the last 10 minutes. Tipp might pull away then
Youād miss the disappointment at the end of January following an early exit in the previous years championship, the fallout of losing the first league match of the year, player withdrawls and calls for a new management team.
Ah youād miss the old days
all we have to row about now is who should be subs, and the Dow
We wouldnāt be far off āletās build for next yearā
2020 is our year
In fairness 2020 was the year ye were building towards last year when the cup landed in yere laps
Iād expect Limerick to try to exploit Paudie at 3. Tipp have tried him there before and it didnāt end well (2010 I think v Cork and Aisake OāHailpin). Theyāll certainly not give him the freedom he had last Sunday
Thank Dolores
Downsie to take him on a tour of the Ennis road
Downes maybe not as tall as OāHailpin but heās big & rangy. OāHailpin just out muscled Paudie & Downes might just do the same.
You donāt have to go back 8 years to find an example of Maher struggling at FB. Even the Tipp lads will tell you itās not his position.
Itās just the one I remember best and possibly his worst ever performance.
