Limerick GAA. Don't be sad. Another 45 won't be so bad. Limited heartbreak

You are only looking for a rise.

Iā€™m not, Iā€™m looking for an insight into the Limerick supporter mindset,

youā€™ve lived among us long enough. You know exactly what weā€™re like. Youā€™re looking for a rise you rogue

None of the goalie or full back line. Paudie or Ronan ahead of Morrissey maybe, maybe Brendan Maher at midfield for DOD. Callanan, John McGrath, and maybe try fit in Noel McGrath. Iā€™m possibly forgetting a few because itā€™s so long since tipp have played a championship match.

Mad bastards from Limerick with sad bastards from Cork looking in

Forde?

Callanan and the rest can stay where they are,

Shur if they had Nickie he would be playing centre back for them

Thanks mate, itā€™s only a bit of fun @anon78624367, Limerick are champions, the comparisons are interesting to read, Iā€™ll take part before the Cork game,

Will ye fuck off out of it, Brendan Maher instead of Darragh Oā€™Donovan!  FFS

Paudie Maher at 7, Seamie Callinan at 14, John McGrath at 15. Possibly Ronan Maher at 5. Thatā€™d be it as of now.

Sure Forde canā€™t even make the Tipp team consistently, let alone limerick

In addition to the Doon lads ?

Will ye fuck off out of it, Ronan Maher instead of Diarmuid Byrnes!  FFS

why not do it now? who from Limerick would make your Cork team?

Iā€™d take Callanan and John McGrath off Tipp.

I said possibly  Itā€™d be close one as both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Howeverā€¦ Brendan Maherā€™s best days are behind him Iā€™m afraid. Fabulous hurler but always lacked the engine for midfield. His best position was/is half back. He wouldnā€™t hold a candle to the energy and running Oā€™Donovan does. DOD is some player to link defence to attack and gets through a world of hard work, chips in with few scores a game too. Sorry but no, itā€™s not even close. 5 years ago maybe when Darragh was minor

Michael Breen is a good bit of stuff in fairness. I donā€™t know where youā€™d put him though

No. 36 on the panel?

To be fair @Julio_Geordio posted in early 2017 that 2018 would be our year

Iā€™d be reasonably sure he posted the same in 2016 re 2017

Nice to see Ciaran Carey writing a piece in this weeks Limerick post.
