in a competition that runs from April-February and has games played in April, the next one possibly in August, I’m sure moving a final by a week or two isn’t a big deal.
The county final is never on a fixed date, it moves based on the circumstances of the county team.
Nope. Nobody forces them to play. They are under no contract. Inter county holidays should not effect county finals. They can head off in June in the middle of the Munster championship. Why ruin the club season for a holiday?
It’s a county final ffs. What about the club players who train all year and make plans around fixtures being screwed over? Just because they aren’t on TV they don’t matter is it?
The holiday is fixed for after the club hurling final. The replay wouldn’t have been fixed depending on a draw until afterwards so they wouldn’t have been planning anyway.
Inter county team holidays should take place during the inter county season. Not in the middle off club county final season. It’s a disgrace and totally unfair on club players.
Exactly the clubs produce these players. They don’t see them from one end of the year and now they qualify for a county final they are being taken away again.
Of course they can like every other inter county team. Instead they are disrupting the club championships and making players pick which is very unfair.
