This is absolutely cracking stuff. Proper Championship intensity. If there are only 100 Blackrock supporters in the ground, they’re making some noise.
Palmer, Leahy & Dawson have all scored nice points from play for Blackrock; Richie lording it at full-back, Marty Farrell superb at wing-back, Quilty going well at midfield. They’ve already lost Gavin O’Loughlin to injury, young O’Keeffe is in instead; Palmer doing a good job at centre-forward.
Garryspillane maybe struggling with the balls inside so far, using Hickey as a target man as always. Colin Ryan has their only point from play so far.

Beefy Jnr, Ian O’Brien, Colm O’Keeffe & an unbelievable score from Palmer all from play for Blackrock.
The Bouncers were struggling to score from play but then Kieran Hickey set up two in a row, one for John Kerins & one for Dylan O’Shea. Hickey is some ballwinner.
Blackrock are all about emotion & momentum, their crowd is very vocal and they’re thriving off it and work rate & intensity all over the pitch. It’s high-intensity stuff and Blackrock are on top. Quilty’s gameplan around dominating those breaks around puckouts is clearly working so far.

It remains dacent stuff: Blackrock 0-14 Garryspillane 0-12.
Eoinsie hit two points in the space of a few seconds, Dylan O’Shea got one and John Kerins just got a really nice one but the likes of Colm O’Keeffe & Marty Farrell have added scores for Blackrock.
On the balance of play, Blackrock are totally dominant but probably don’t have the firepower to really punish teams. Marty Farrell has been really really good, as has Jimmy Quilty Junior.
Jim-Bob has gone off injured for the Bouncers though but the likes of Roibeard O’Donovan & Ciaran Sheehan are starting to set up. Sheehan had a goal chance but probably didn’t have the confidence to take on Richie and his shot was saved by Murphy.
Goal for the Bouncers! 1 in it, with 3 to play!

Eoinsie hit 1-3 in the second half, some going. Blackrock will be absolutely sickened though, led all the way up until the 4th minute of stoppage time and had done all the hurling really.

Can’t make the knockouts. Need Ballybrown to beat Garryspillane by more than they beat Blackrock to avoid a relegation final.
