Obviously with the big gomey Tippo head on you.

Man City and Madrid on RTE 2 tonight, Limerick hurling double header on RTE tomorrow. The PGA for the next few nights.

Fuck you virus.

Eir used Anthony Daly for LK club games before - seem to recall he just spoke of the ex-academy players and those who were on the Senior panel.

would you expect him to randomly know a few lads from Ballybrown, yeah?

Anthony “Dalo” Daly co-commentator for Doon v The ‘Well.

He’ll get the Academy reference in by the first water break.

Tbf, where not hindered by language restrictions (with TG4), it makes sense to get someone who does know the players involved.

I remember the Dow doing co-commentary for Limerick club games before and he did very well.

That’s fair enough

Will your head explode with indignation in the same timeframe?

I presume this is a double header in the Gaelic Grounds?
Doon v Well, Ahane v Kilm.
The RTE EPG has the fixtures all wrong.

How will they sort the crowd out?
Will everybody in the ground have to leave after the first match?

That’s what’s supposed to happen anyway

I presume the RTE crew can stay on?

Yeah, I’d imagine their area is for them and them alone so no chance of cross-contamination. No running out to Hungry Lyons between games though

No crowd allowed at all.

I’ve been onto The Dow. He says he’ll get me in as a Sound man.

Could they not have allowed the supporters into opposite sides of the ground or something?

You’ll be holding the big hairy microphone thing for the day, or else wiping the lens on the camera man’s iPhone with a snotty hanky if it’s wet out.

You got that one right. Still pissing here in Limerick.

I suppose between the 4 teams you’ll be pretty close to 200.

Reporters, commentators, cameramen, stewards, referee, umpires, etc make up the rest.
