When all is said and done it will be very disappointing if this Limerick team have only a paltry single All Ireland to their name. Their natural raw talent demands more, they gave one of the great all Ireland displays for 60 minutes the Galway lads, fine hurlers themselves, were chasing shadows all day long. They are a once in a lifetime team who should be focused on maximising their talent while they can. I don’t understand how they cannot see the damage they have inflicted on themselves with these stomach turning displays of extravagance are their no leaders who can put their hands up and say this is not what we are about?
Ffs a man from a county that has won 8 minor all Irelands yet 1 senior since the turn of the millennium having the gall to comment on the current Limerick team underachieving with 1 all Ireland while early in its life cycle is utterly comical .
