Isn’t it great. The Clare lads are all gone busking in Kilkee with their broken banjos
Mother of God,
C’monnnnnnnnn!
Guts, heart and character. 7/4, hope you all filled your boots. Paddy McAullife priced it up all wrong.
John Kiely and his sideline team should be rightly sick after watching that today. Some very poor sideline mgmt cost us a very handy all Ireland.
Some win, makes the last day very very interesting! Low-scoring enough, must have been very wet back there.
Wasn’t a weekend for big scores .
It could be another 2 or 3 years before another handy all Ireland comes around. Keily has to go
What game is this?
If the reports I’m hearing are true they’ll be no timber spared when Tour and NCW meet in 2 weeks time in the Nick Greene Sportsground Maintenance Intermediate Hurling Championship.
Team G/B 0-12 Effin 0-10.
Terrible conditions, it descended into trench warfare but, by Christ, the spirit G/B showed was something unreal. The year was on the line, a point down with 10 to go and properly dug it out. Pulled the last three scores out and picked up the two points on offer.
Jack Quaid was brilliant at midfield for Effin. MOTM. Class player.
Two subs came on and won us the game. Outstanding.
What a dramatic finale it’s going to be on Saturday week. After four games each it’s…
Glenroe 6
G/B 5
Pats 5
Effin 4
Hospital 4
Drom 0.
Glenroe v Pats
G/B v Hospital
Effin v D/B
Guaranteed a West team coming down now?
Be a shame for Tour to come straight back down and Feohanagh have no business in junior. Knockaderry are a long time intermediate but could struggle to get back if they came down. Drom most likely though but that relegation final is a pure lottery
Drom v Tour/Knockaderry/Feohanagh will be off the chain.
D/B have the next few weeks now to begin peace keeping talks and try and save our season
You’d never back against Drom in a two horse race.
Feohanagh will be just fine i’d say. They will put a massive score on Drom if needs be in the relegation final
If limerick had done two in a row limerick would be mentioned as team of the decade possibly and cian lynch/gillane would be mentioned in the hurler of the decade debate.
Except we didn’t, so let’s just get over it. Very hard thing to do, and we still had a good year. Tipp haven’t even done back to back this millenium. This should be a much better decade for limerick hurling than the one just gone.
Kyler will need to focus minds out in Sandy lane. There should be a clear the air meeting in the Charlie Swan suite
