The biggest thing I took out of sat night was cian lynch not slipping the ball through to aran gillane for a simple goal. Gillane should have been screaming for it and fucked lynch out of it immediately after it when the Ball wasnā€™t passed.

Can you remember him butchering a similar goal chance against Clare by overplaying the ball with an easy pass being on? Itā€™s a problem area with him that the Head Master needs to deal with.

Cian is improving on his decision making but it was never selfishness was the problem, itā€™s trying the killer pass when he has a point on himself is the issue

Iā€™m as much criticising his coaches/managers than the players. Gillane should have been going nuts for that ball.

Youā€™re right. Itā€™s been a problem with the seniors a long time now, the interplay between the forwards is atrocious when you think of the movement and vision and of the likes of tipp.

Cian Lynch has hurled with Aaron Gillane since the age of 8. He made a call to stick the ball over the bar rather than pass him a ball with a defender between them. Correct decision to go and put 6 points between the team at the time.

A mature decision in hindsight but its shows a lack of a killer instinct would you not agree? If they were beaten by a point or two would you look at the chance the same?
