Balbec up 1-8 to 0-6 at the break. Still hasn’t really ignited, the difference is that goal from O’Reilly. Keeper misjudged it, kinda tapped the crossbar as if letting it go over the bar and it dropped under.
I feel like Paul White is wasted at wing-back. He’s the fastest player in the county, but wing-back in hurling is a much more structured position than in football and I feel he’d be more useful in midfield.
Rathkeale trying to leave a lot of space in front of the full-forward line but haven’t been getting the right ball in. The likes of Staunton and O’Reilly have been quiet for Kilmallock, you’d expect more from them.
It’s been even enough really, two soft goals for Kilmallock. Mushes going for goals now, had a 21-yard free saved and another chance blocked just there.
I must have missed something, looked like a fairly obvious yellow card offence on first look, but I didn’t see a yellow flashed and I didn’t think he was on one. Could be wrong though.
