Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Balbec up 1-8 to 0-6 at the break. Still hasn’t really ignited, the difference is that goal from O’Reilly. Keeper misjudged it, kinda tapped the crossbar as if letting it go over the bar and it dropped under.

I feel like Paul White is wasted at wing-back. He’s the fastest player in the county, but wing-back in hurling is a much more structured position than in football and I feel he’d be more useful in midfield.

Rathkeale trying to leave a lot of space in front of the full-forward line but haven’t been getting the right ball in. The likes of Staunton and O’Reilly have been quiet for Kilmallock, you’d expect more from them.

Staunton has hit some awful wides for a player of his quality.

Second goal for Kilmallock, trickled over the line. Think it was O’Reilly again. 2-12 to 0-10.

You’d expect Pats to have too much for Kilmallock, I thought the Mushes would put it up to them.

It’s been even enough really, two soft goals for Kilmallock. Mushes going for goals now, had a 21-yard free saved and another chance blocked just there.

Six points in it. Surely another twist in this yet.

4 in it, momentum all with the Mushes.

Just a goal in it. Rathkeale crowd getting excited.

Another free for Rathkeale… 2 between them

Staunton finally gets one, good score, out to 3 again.

Rathkeale screaming for a penalty, ref gives a free put. Benny Burke scores down the other end. That should be that.

Red for Kevin O’Mahony, O’Sullivan taps over the free, ref blows for full-time.

2-15 to 0-18 final score. Decent second half, Rathkeale will regret giving away those sloppy goals.

It means Pats are into Munster no matter what. I think they’ll beat Kilmallock too.

Straight red for Kev? Misses the final now I suppose.

@TreatyStones we have broken the Mush’s spirit.

I must have missed something, looked like a fairly obvious yellow card offence on first look, but I didn’t see a yellow flashed and I didn’t think he was on one. Could be wrong though.

Bollocks anyway, he’s a good lad.

He got two yellows apparently

Hospital took some hiding off Thurles CBS today in the Dean Ryan Cup .

I’m overcome with the excitememt of it all.
