Big year ahead for Byrnes. He was a latish comer to IC hurling and lost a year . A really fine wing back . He should be left there for a year to find his feet .

O’Donoghue will run all day, his hurling may not be sharp enough yet but it’s not far off.

Our best years had a hardy Buck /strongman in the middle of the park … WOD certainly merit a decent chance .
