Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Iā€™d turn the photo around. They might have lost.

Great servant, pity he couldnt give it another year or two.

Not surprised when he wasnā€™t starting this year and all the U21 stars coming up.

Great servant alright, had some fine performances. Panel will definitely be weaker without him. Iā€™d have liked to see him really push for a starting spot this year.
But itā€™s a huge commitment if you donā€™t feel youā€™ll be a regular starter.

I personally thought he was unlucky this year not to have gotten more time on the field.

Very poorly treated

Yep.

How a new Manager could try and put his so called stamp on a panel by dropping one of its best players was bizarre.

Those fucking bouncers would burn Kilmallock:)

Massive mistake what was done to Gav.

I didnā€™t know Mike Jones was back playing with them, I think he was in Oz for a long time. Heā€™d be the same go as me.

A fucking jokeā€¦ Had another year or two in him.

Back since last year

Gavin was a very fine player but this is the right time for him to go, heā€™s not starting next year no matter who is picking the team, I hope he enjoys retirement with his lovely wife, good luck to him.

Wouldā€™ve liked to have seen him give it another year. Limerick have some fine youngsters coming through but you need experience within the squad to guide them. Gavin would have fitted this role perfectly as Condon, JimBob, Richie Mac and Graeme Mul look to be nearing the end.

You forgot Colour Coordinated Hickey on that list

A nice fella, first and foremost.

Fine servant, probably the right time for him to go if opportunities were to continue to be limited in 2018. Real lack of experienced, seasoned heads in the squad now though. From 2013 thatā€™s Stephen Walsh, Paudie Oā€™Brien, Wayne Mac, Dodge, David Breen and now Oā€™Mahony all gone.

Famous Seamus will be a leading light for Limerick next year and beyond.

Mistake? It was the behavior of a tramp

The injury came at a bad time for him. That and Hannon and Hickeyā€™s return to form. A disappointing end, I thought heā€™d give it another year at least. A stalwart and a really underappreciated player who always rose his game on big days.
