Newcastlewest vs Adare in the Premier U-21 Football Final

3 days before Christmas, a week later than last year for this particular game.

NCW are the 2016 champions, Adare won it in 2015… 3 years ago in minor, NCW lost in a semi-final to Tory Gaels; Adare weren’t even in the Minor A, they won the Minor B.

NCW beat Adare by a point in the group stage, should be an interesting contest although it’s really no time to be playing a county final. It’s hard to imagine the pitch will be in decent condition.

Its a big clusterfuck and there isn’t a single one of them with integrity left, not that there were many with it beforehand. The thing that gets me is that there are plenty knives out for incompetent Riordan, so why isn’t he gone?

Cregan has a job ahead of him and he will need to be absolutely ruthless if he is to make a decent name for himself. An onerous task ahead and we are about to bypass yet another bunch of young hurlers in the name of politics Limerick-style.
