To be fair the current management didnât think Gillane was good enough to be on panel this time last year .
That doesnât change the fact heâs taken every chance heâs gotten. Ditto hayes, two Caseyâs, finn and morrissey.
Flanagan, Gillane, Hegarty, Hayes, P Casey and Nash would be my preferred 6 forwards to start in an ideal world in May.
David Dempsey, Tom Morrisey, Pat Simon, Dowling, Murphy, Mulcahy and potentially Downes are all decent subs to come in.
Shit, I forgot about him. I think heâll probably be number 26 so.

It wouldnât surprise me nash/Ronan Lynch/Altc head to the states for the summer. Might do them the world of good.
Lets see how the league goes first. A few lads who are so highly regarded could get cleaned out this weekend, it seems youâre only as good as your last game on this thing.

Fairly sure he came on against Clare in Thurles last year. Canât remember if he was involved in the league, perhaps not.
Iâve no time for the Fitzgibbon Cup but it does put lads not on an intercounty panel in the shop window, so to speak. Gillane put up massive scores and got his call up as a result.

Thats my thinking and Tipp will have a back line and not the one forward like Clare who are a mess
Barry Nash has proved nothing at this level. I think he has been a big disappointment personally given all the expectation on him, and then the walking off the panel last year thing. He would not be in my top 10 options in the forwards and i think he is not guaranteed to be in the 26 man championship panel.
