I wouldn’t go that far. They hammered Adare in the second round last year and I’d have taken any money on Adare after 25 minutes of the semi final. Agreed it’s hard too see Drom winning, but anything can happen in these first round games. No team is really sure where they stand.

Yep played full forward for a game or two. He may or may not have been serving a suspension from rugby at the time. I faintly remember someting like that way back but i could be very wrong (about the suspension)

John Kiely has confounded me so far this season and appears to be doing a very good job. It’s a big challenge now to integrate the key players from Na Piarsaigh without disrupting the rhythm / unity built up. The league has been like a great stag, but the championship will be like the wedding that follows. The lads on the stag mixed brilliantly but there’s a few big personalities who couldn’t make it and they might want to make their presence felt at the wedding. I’m going to stop with this forced metaphor* now.
