O’Meara,BOC,La Touche,Lyons are the ones who stand out as definite cuts for the match day panel.
Bizarre that Lorcan Lyons is still there. Has he played a minute this year?

I suppose he has to let the NaP lads have a few training sessions at least before he culls lads training for months
Well I suppose he wants 30 odd for matches etc. No issue with that, just strange to keep lads that definitely aren’t in his plans and leave out NAP lads like Lynch and Breen who are maybe good enough
Based on the Cuala games Ronan Lynch not deserving of a place and Adrian Breen not up to IC standard. Alan Dempsey can feel a bit hard done by as he was outstanding in both games.

Questionable how much some of them were really ever on the panel, but the following would appear to have been cut:
Daragh Fanning
Conor Boylan
Ronan Lynch
Alan Dempsey
Ronan Lynch the big name there.
Six players who for one reason or another did not start for the AI winning u21s last year.

And Thomas Grimes as well actually.
Na Piarsaigh down to 6 panel members from 10 back in November, they will do well to have anyone starting at this rate.

Alan Dempsey being cut from the panel is the only call I’d be pissed off with. He was without question the best player on the Na P team in the all Ireland final and the replay, and motm the first day. He has never been playing so well in his life. Fitness was an issue for him before but not now. Why was he ever named and then cut, had he even a couple training sessions with them? Adrian Breen will feel hard done by but realistically is probably behind a fair few lads for a corner forward spot, Boylan and Grimes not surprising. Ronan Lynch’s form has collapsed since the u21 championship unfortunately and maybe the break and change of manager at na p will do him good. But Dempsey is a better player than a few on that panel who play the same positions and come club championship he’ll hurl them off the field.
