Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Bruree improved this week; but Mungret still handy winners. Paul O’Brien and Brendan Giltenane both scoring heavily.

Croom narrow winners over Hospital/Herbertstown. Dromin/Athlacca not quite as dominant as I’d expect this year, but still got the win in the end. Drom/Broadford scored 3 goals against them which must be a bit of a worry. Were they deserving winners @Copper_pipe?

The Drom Full Forward got the 3 goals. Athlaca had a penalty saved too in the first half. Athlaca had a lot of wides too tbf. Yeah they deserved it alright tbf. Was a scrap after the game. 2 reds for each side.

Michael O’Sullivan? What age of a fella is he?

Is Ray Lynch playing any hurling this year? And where’s Derry McCarthy?

Who got sent off? Ryan for Athlacca?

Michael O Sullivan is around 31 or 32.

Ray Lynch came on the last day I think. Don’t think he came on tonight. Not sure what Derry McCarthy’s story is.

I think a Breen and Lenihan lad got sent off for Athlaca. (I’d no Programme) :man_shrugging:

Is that O’Sullivan chap known as “Brass”? Big strong fella?? Or is that a younger brother of tonight’s goalscorer?

That’s him alright

A big unit alright, comes from nice people. Most West Limerick people are salt of the earth bar the Ballysteen crowd obviously, an awful clannish and parochial shower that crowd.

It’s one of my goals in life to win the top prize in that monthly draw some day.

Buy a ticket so you tight bastard!

In it for years and never won as much as a scratch card or a hamper (or whatever the lowest cash prize equivalent is).

Some day. Some day…

Crecora must have sold a ball of tickets

I won 40 or 50 quid a couple of times. Still in it.

The Nick Grene Sportsground Maintenance Intermediate Hurling Championship Group 2 Round 2 game between Claughaun/Old Christian’s v Newcastle West fixed for Croagh on this Saturday evening 28th. April has been postponed, owing to a bereavement

Had a falling out with management in a league game and hasn’t turned up for hurling since ive been told

Does he own the petrol station

No thats the brother I think

Its brass owns it anyway whether he is the hurler or not. I never knew his real name.

That’s a huge loss; by far their best hurler imo.

Very good hurler but a bit of a head case at times unfortunately. I think the nickname Brass might apply to all the family there so there’s a good chance the brother is also known as brass
