Killmalock in trouble against adare.
A goal up now.
9 pts now.
Too much class for the likes of Adare.
Goals for Gav and Oisin Reilly. The clique are giving knockainey a hiding
South liberties seem to have a bit about them this year.
Kilmallock win by nine.
Liberties win 3-18 to 2-09
Greame Mulcahy going very well at the moment. Would love to see him bring this form to the County team
Just back from Clarina.
Intermediate result. G/B 1-21 Na Piarsaigh 0-17.
A game that finished in very much fading light. They could have done with bringing forward the throw-in to 6.30, it was hard enough for all concerned to follow the flight of the ball for a finish.
7 points harsh on the city boys, the goal was a penalty which was the last score of the game. It had been nip and tuck for large tracts of the match. Thatās four points from four now for Team G/B, safety almost secured and can have a good cut at it for the rest of the year now.
@glasagusban or @habanerocat - what age is young Will Henn? He was MOTM, it seemed like he got about ten points from play. He was unreal, tormented G/B all the way through.
Nearly all the Na Piarsaigh intercounty contingent were in attendance, both Casey brothers were on the line.
He was a minor last year.
I half guessed he was in or around that go alright.
Itās only the third tier of club hurling etc but he tore it up tonight. Every time he got it he scored, was fouled or created something.
Ye are flying kid
Yurt.
10/14 this week, couple more wrong than last week.
All 3 right at Senior A but 2 two of them were gimmes. Adare kept it close in the first half but I think Kimallock were always going to have too much. Patrickswell vs Doon was always going to be close; it sounds like it was a cracking match but Doon probably needed a big response after last weekās showing.
Sounds like I got lucky with the Murroe/Boher one, only won by a point even with Ahane down to 14 for most of the game. Havenāt been as impressive as I thought. South Liberties were a team I thought could struggle but based on last weekās result, I thought theyād win this, buy maybe not so impressively. With Brian Ryan, Ger Downes and Lukasz Kirzenstein; they have some big names on the coaching team and are obviously getting more from the likes of Barry Nash and Brian Ryan than previous. Hat-trick for William Hickey too, another former county player. The one I got wrong at this level was Monaleen vs Cappamore; I just about went for Monaleen but it sounded like Cappamore threw it away; ended in a draw.
Mungret & Bruff won as expected, both maybe more convincingly that Iād have thought. Mungret are top, but Bruff look particularly impressive. Did not see Pallasgreen beating Feohanagh by 9. Matches with that crowd are normally tight, a hat-trick for Kevin Barry late on did itā¦ a big win for Pallasgreen which sets them up nicely for the break.
Croom, Dromin/Athlcca & G/B all won as expected. Claughaun/Old Christians vs NCW was called off. Knew Effin vs Glenroe would be close, Glenroe were the ones to edge it though and I favoured Effin. Glenroe regularly do really well at this time of the year only to lose when it really mattersā¦ is this to be their year finally? Knockaderry got a much-needed win over St. Patāsā¦ supposed they needed it after doing really badly last week against Croom. St. Patās are always a hard team to call, as they may be missing players or not from match to match due to other commitments. One of these teams will probably make it through to the quarter-finals; possibly advantage Knockaderry now.
Tis between yerselves and Na Piarsaigh. Probably dosent suit your crowd to have the 3 tougher matches to come.
The long break now doesnt help.
We were only toying with them.
Pats missing 8 starters due to one thing or another and only for having Calvin Moran sent off in the second half could still have won it. Bad, bad game of hurling though.
Straight red for Moran, or two yellows?
Canāt really afford to lose him for the next match.
Right the club business is done for April and we are less than 3 weeks out from the championship.Let the hyperbole begin!(it never ends)
