That was half the reason for premier inter.
6 of 12 inter teams play knockout and 2 play knockdown. I guess a side could get stuck in 7th to 11th but that is an issue for the club.
The competition structure is ok at the top 3 grades. Junior could do with more grouping, could run a south/east and city/West while retaining dibisional finals
Well this year, there is probably 4 teams who are genuine contenders for promotion. There is no reason why most of the others couldn’t be aiming for a place in the knockouts and taking a scalp.
Half time in Askeaton.
Western Gaels 2-09 Na Piarsaigh 2-07.
Peter Casey and Kieran Daly with the goals for the city outfit. Kildimo’s Willie Griffin and Lukas O’Brien for the divisional team. Suspect 'keeping for nearly all of the goals.
Na P have a stiff breeze aiding them now.
Adare and District 2-09 to NAP 2-7 at half time. NAP not firing at all for a goal just before half time though to bring them right back into it. NAP look to have a lot more goals in them. Adare burst their bollox in the first half so they’ll be disappointed to be only two up. Although they’ll have a slight breeze in the second half.
Lads who has the breeze in second half? One of ye doesn’t seem to know…
I have the score right though

Goal adare, NAP defence parted like the Red Sea
Wayne Mac is destroying downes and the latest croagh recruit is running riot
Adare & District on top but NAP just missed another good goal chance and Dowling warming up
Still confident we will win.
Warming up?? What kind of team did the cunts start with at all?
