Young OâShea is a good player.
They seemed pretty grand for Clare fellas
TBH unlike our own the whole thing wasnât an anti ref whinge fest .
Was that Tommy Guilfoyle ?
I believe so.
Just reading between the lines from a few close to the squad and few other informed types id be pleasantly surprised if we keep it within 15 points.
For Saturday?
Yes
15 points? Who we playing now kilkenny or Galway
Huh?
LAds seemed shocked by a dose of realism
Who?
This is the Limerick thread pal. Unless youâre of the Walter Mitty persuasion, youâre not let in. Weâll bate them waspy fuckers by a point a man Saturday, drink their beer and ride their women.
It is sad what has become of this once great thread.
This whole âlifting the treatyâ gave us what? 2 munster minor and a few croke park appearances. When the chips are down have we the mental stamina to win a tight match. At any grade. I dont think we have.
I was speaking to a fairly knowledgeable man from Tipperary whose father has a few all irelands, the mood in the Kilkenny camp is poor. Fennelly is out, Hogan and Aylward touch and go. If we are doing our usual downing tools you may be right. May as well scrap GAA in this county if this seems to be the mood.
Lads, KK are on the ropes, go out and finish them.
Back from Ennis. Game effort from a limited team.
The management were clueless. The Clare centre-back, a fine young hurler called Minogue, utterly dominated all through. Our solution was to consistently play the ball down on top of himâŚ
Our use of substitutes was woeful. Young OâShea from Garryspillane was on one leg before the end of normal time yet was left on the field until the final minute of ET. They took off a clearly out of depth player and re-introduced him so he could trip over a ball and let Clare move two ahead.
That Philip Kelly, by the way, is the latest in a line of utter cunts of Tipperary referees.
Heâs atrocious
