Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Heā€™d a fourth official with him who was the size of a small house. He was like Peter Kay with a gick eye.

He over-ruled himself at one stage and was over-ruled by his linesman at another. Calling back play for a quick puckout cos he wasnā€™t ready and then insisting on the ball being pucked out with players down injured. No doubt heā€™ll be on the senior circuit soon

I reckon his only saving grace is that he was equally as bad for both teams. Iā€™m just glad that there was more then a point in it at the end.

Told you it was a good team bad tonight to we should have won in normal time the wides fuck sake

Thatā€™s a little harsh.

In 2015, the minors came up against a Cork side who were probably better than them, who had already beaten them, and dug deep to get the win. Think they beat Waterford in a very tight game the same year.

At senior in 2015, beat Clare by a point when it looked like they had turned the tide and had us on the rack.

Same year, the U-21s beat Tipp by 2 after having thrown away a huge lead, and were also down to 14 men. Colin Ryan came on and drove us on to get the final few scores.

The minors last year, similar, got a couple of close wins against teams that might be argued had more talent than us.

I wholely respect other peopleā€™s opinion Mike. Iā€™m from the school of thought where you refrain from idle speculation negativity and defeatism. Thatā€™s all, Iā€™m not going to tell anyone what way to feel or what opinions to form about Limerick hurling.

I know that. I didnā€™t mean to offend. Apologies if it did. It wasnā€™t intended

Fuck we had some amount of wides

Not at all Mike youā€™re a pure gent.

Would agree with all of that. The one thing lacking is something /one to just knit the whole thing together

There is a real worry that all resources are being channelled in to the county teams . We are well outspending other counties in this regard . The worry I have is that grassroots are being neglected .

There has been nothing like Templemoreā€™s success at school level .

The trouble is that there is nothing yet to show that ANY of the recent underage stars can be really good Senior IC hurlers . I have no doubt many will be but that is the next step .

Some home truths?

Hard luck lads

Schadenfreude alert.

Only applies to (perceived) weaker counties mocking (perceived) stronger counties.

Is daily involved in the 21s
