Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Is that on tonight? The barn dance in Kilmeedy will be hopping afterwards

Think so ya

Tis on at half 6 in Coolyroe.

I might head down to it. (The match not the barn dance) :dancer:

Where that?

Castlemahon, near to NCW

Home of Feohanagh/Castlemahon GAA Club (Quaids, John Flanagan).

I see. Coolyroe townsland confused me.

To be honest I’m delighted for Rathkeale. We all talk about obstacles in our way as clubs, demographics etc., but this club have faced down the absolute destruction of their town and it’s reputation and met it head on. As one of them said to me once, towns usually have new people move into them over the years, nobody will move into Rathkeale bar the tinkers. Anyone moving into the hinterlands (some serious farming land around there) or even some locals have tried to get their young lads playing with neighbouring clubs. They’re now Senior Football and a competitive Junior A Hurling team after being B for many years. Some great GAA men in that club

Very well said.

Even with demographics and everything else stacked against them they keep plugging away. Some fantastic people involved with that club.

I hope they go on and win the west final now.

Well said . The GAA men in Rathkeale are great.

Aye, fair play to them.

I believe you (or was it Elvis) predicted a potential upset with Rathkeale.

Still, Tournafulla must be sick.

Pats beat Na Piarsaigh in the City, and I’d expect them to beat the Well in the final.
Still fancy Killeedy in the West.

Pats will win the Junior A.

Kilmallock will win it.

I think Killeedy will.

Feenagh I think .

Bad morning so far for all Limerick underage teams. Forristal team well beaten by Kilkenny, as were the U16s.
The 15s got thumped by Cork and the U16 B team contrived to lose to Kerry.

Murroe/Boher beat Pallasgreen yesterday too, to secure a semi-final spot for certain. Could still have top spot taken from them.

A bad outing for the under 16B team ends with a 12-point thumping by Laois.
