Aristotle predictions Round 4:
Bad week last week, all those draws. Some very interesting, hard to call games this weekend.
Double header in the Gaelic Grounds Saturday, Kilmallock vs Patrickswell should be a cracker, you’d have to just fancy the Balbec in this one. Hard to see Na Piarsaigh not beating Adare in the later game. Doon should have too much for Ballybrown on Sunday.
In Senior B, three absolutely cracking fixtures, this is where the new format shines, I suppose. Teams all the same level playing it out. Knockainey have no points, Cappamore have 1. This will be a right battle, a draw would be no surprise but I reckon Knockainey might just about do it. Only a point separates the other 4 teams- Monaleen had a great win against Liberties but Murroe/Boher had a comprehensive win too, I’ll go for the latter to edge it. Liberties will be so disappointed to lose to Monaleen, it’ll be another tight one but I’ll go for Ahane by 1 or 2.
In Premier Intermediate, Bruree got their first point last week but I think Pallasgreen match up well against them and will get the win. Mungret are 3 from 3 and flying, Bruff somehow fucked their match away last week. Think Mungret have a slight edge here. Not sure if Garryspillane vs Blackrock is being played this weekend, I’d fancy the Bouncers anyway.
No match at Intermediate likely to entertain like the Glenroe-G/B game last week. You’d expect Glenroe, Granagh/Ballingarry and Effin to all win in that group against NaP, Claughaun/Old Christians & NCW respectively. In the other group, Pats could beat Croom, it’ll be close but I suppose I have to pick Croom. The loser of Drom vs H/H will be in the relegation final, I think D/B with Derry McCarthy will have too much but again, close. Dromin/Athlacca will beat Knockaderry.
Senior A- Kilmallock, Na Piarsaigh, Doon
Senior B- Knockainey, Murroe/Boher, Ahane
Premier- Pallasgreen, Mungret, Garryspillane (if playing)
Intermediate- Glenroe, Croom, Drom/Broadford, Dromin/Athlacca, Granagh/Ballingarry, Effin
