I’ve contacted people on both sides to get the full side of the story. I believe this decision was made by naps management and they refused to accommodate mungret. Nap have previous with this sort of thing and the only thing you can say is it’s a cuntish stance to take at underage but they are consistent in it. It’s a pity the county board can’t step in here, fine nap and make sure the game is played on a suitable date and make sure the kids get their day out in a county final.
Reminiscent of the row between that broke out in the Limerick team after 73 win.

the county board should fine Mungret for prioritizing a fucking blitz over a fixed county final.
They failed to show up for an Under 13A county final on the fixed date, and failed to negotiate an alternate date.

The last county board meeting I was at a member of nap was moaning about recieving a walk over in an under 16 game. Stating they wanted to play games. When did their stance change?
Exactly. Give up another month of your life that you hadn’t scheduled in to accommodate a team that puts more stock in going down to a football blitz than a county final.
