Yes. Yes we are.

It is a Limerick thread . I think for the future survival of the TFK ye need to show the dominant county demographic a bit more respect or we will go underground and make the TFK redundant again!!!

Fascinating

Beefy came out of retirement at the weekend, and win a Junior B League.

No Good guys?
The biggest take away I have from this is that you had a hurler playing in an All Ireland final and a very hectic schedule gives of his time to train an U13 team. I doubt you would have that anywhere else.
I suppose if you consider the sacrifices he has made to train am underage team you might consider a club that prioritised a blitz over a county final as being disrespectful. The tweets afterwards were unnecessary

Sir

Chief.

He’s still The Dow!

He just comes across as a Massive hypocrite out of this. He made a massive song and dance about how hard it was watching on from the stands watching the limerick team play. Now he’s a part of a set up that took the opportunity from a bunch of kids to play in a county final and then went bragging about it on twitter.

The Dow has an All Ireland medal and Mungret 13s have none.

Somebody in the County Board gave them the cup. They went back to the club with the cup as is the norm. They posted a few photos of the team up on Twitter. That’s about it really.

I am referring to the whole thing around the final .

Ffs I know full well how hard it is to get volunteers to coach teams , especially current players .

The whole thing is a great pity tbh .

Limerick hurling is going to the dogs.

Yes . Should be a great night . Always is.

Na Piarsaigh proposed 5 alternate dates none of which “suited” Mungret.

Mungret took their players to a blitz over a county final which was fixed in time enough for them not to go to and prioritize over their county final then refused to agree a date for a re-fixture, from a pick of 5 from Na Piarsaigh.

I suppose the soccer and rugby season has started so it’d be hard for Mungret to find a date.

One club in the wrong here

That’s it you feel sorry the lads that have these kids at 8s, 10s and 12s. Clubs should be doing everything to accomdate each other at this age group. Anything under the bord Na og banner should probably not be competitive in my mind but getting kids playing as often and keeping them healthy is just as important. This is what turns people away.

When the full story comes out there will be a lot of lads on here embarressed with their online performance

This isn’t true at all. They point blank refused to switch the game and no alternative was offered by nap.

I heard they wanted it put back 5 weeks
