Limerick GAA - knocked down, but will get up again

A few there with helmets off, but Seamus seems to have censored the actual melees :joy:

I didn’t realise 6 of our AI winning panelists came from Castletroy college.

With their numbers, they should be very competitive in the Harty cup over the next few years.

Of course you didn’t and three of the starting fifteen went to the one primary school which is quite incredible too I think but are scoil ris who have kids from the well, nap, ballybrown, adare and various other strong hurling clubs across limerick are the only school I saw credited in the media with regards to our success. Doon must have had 5 or 6 on the panel too? The four lads, plus Malachy anyway.

Doon with three teams in the business rounds of three different Limerick hurling championships are doing something very right in their parish.

Brother Dormer deserves credit there.

Doon will always let you down in the latter stages of the senior championship.

With the likes of darragh o’Donovan in the engine room I wouldnt be so sure.

Could be their year.

That’s some effort. That must be the bones of a 80 adult players between the three squads.

It’s like Ballybrown, only they can actually hurl.

Tbf to ballybrown they are tiny village. Some going by them to put in a good effort in senior A given they’ve no inter county lads of note recently bar josh Adams.

I was joking there. They’re a fantastic club but with the number of players they have, you’d reckon they would be more competitive at senior level.

They have 90 plus adult hurlers.

Ah tbf they are good side just a pity for them Nap are so strong.

I’d still even fancy Kilmallock to beat them if they meet when it’s Knock out.

I’m not sure it works like that but they seem to rarely have many representatives on minor, twenty one or senior county panels for a senior club. They’ve had alan o Connor, Adams, Kenny and o reily in the last fifteen years. I can’t think of many more.

I’d like to see a new team win from a neutral point of view, Na Piarsaigh will take some bating alright. Kilmallock are still probably best equipped to that as well.

He didn’t play yesterday either.

I don’t know. We were very poor yesterday. Nothing clicked. Maybe it’s the kick up the arse we needed.

Brought the proper cup to england and fake one to granagh.

It wasnt knock out though, players focus might not have been were it should be.

I’d expect a far different Kilmallock when it’s a knock out game in two weeks time.

Chalk it down.

I’m a bit disappointed in the well, unless they’re shadow boxing which I doubt, they’ve been poor.

Thry’ve Shipped a few big hidings but you would never take them for granted.
