Absolutely sick
Now that’s a tough one.
What happened?
Mugged off by a late winning goal in injury time when a point up.
10 points down with 10 left, up a point in stoppage time, they get a goal and win by 2
Hard luck
That’s a bollocks
And of all people to get the goal!
Hopefully that distracts him for tomorrow!
Garryspillane vs Blackrock too, you’d have to fancy Garryspillane to win that even with Galbally playing today- I think only a handful are starters on both: Jim-Bob, Hickey & Mark Quinlan.
The money laundering begins
Blackrock lead the Bouncers by two at half time, plenty of needle with both sides down to 14. Teege is animated on the sideline.
Bouncers can’t help themselves, so stupid by young Sheehan to get the red. Teeje should have got sent off too.
Sounds a great game .
It was! No sweepers or extra defenders, just a proper traditional game of champagne football. The estimated crowd of 79 enjoyed it thoroughly.
Dramatic scenes in Coolyroe as these two super powers of Limerick club football played out a pulsating draw. G/B haven’t had a single training session all year.
Looked to have it won before Drom/Broadford struck a late salvo of 1-01 - the underdogs responded with two fabulous points of their own to earn a deserved draw.
Some Drom team. Reidy, Stokes, Donnelly and a few more stalwarts all still playing.
Dodgy went off early on, six days before the intermediate hurling quarter final with Knockaderry.
Any idea when the replay will be? We’ve the relegation final on Saturday so that prob rules next weekend out!
Yeah, both clubs are already out next weekend so that’s a write off.
We’ve a stag the following weekend which would rule one or two out.
Neither hurling game in Kilmallock really caught fire today. I suppose the first half of the Blackrock-Garryspillane game was decent but the second half was brutal. Blackrock failed to score in the second half, they really missed Leahy, their freetaker, after he was sent off. Eoinsy was sent off for the Bouncers and was also a big loss. Just terrible fare in the second half.
We built up an 8-point lead by half-time with the wind against Pallasgreen, and managed to keep them at arm’s length from then on. Game was quite flat considering but a comprehensive win for us, and into the semi-final in our first year at the grade. Were missing a couple of players too, so good to get the job done without them.
And Darren O’Connell scored one of the best individual goals you’re ever likely to see, so I guess the crowd couldn’t complain too much. Just sheer class it was.
It was a class goal.
Bruff, Mungret, Bouncers and yourselves in the semi finals. Pity next weeks games are pretty much dead rubbers now but hard to pick a winner from those four.
