Agree.
Morrisseyâs work rate in harassing backs is also the best in the panel. Nash is a player who, when he gets the ball in hand, runs straight at goal. Donât really have anyone else like that bar maybe Downes.

Gavin for me is in the half back line or on the bench come championship, he has popped over a couple of scores during the pre season Munster League and actual league but he is our most consistent performer in the HB for the last 5 years.
He has to stay there for me, very very rarely has a poor game for Limerick in a championship game.
Iâd have Nash at the moment just ahead of Morrissey, but I would have Morrissey ahead of some big names whoâve been on the scene for the last few years.
Be some massive calls to be made come championship when the NaP lads are back involved, hopefully the right ones are made based on form and not reputation.
Worth remembering Gavin has been rubbish in the league the last few years but pretty much alway delivers come championship. Would expect him to improve a lot come championship again.
We cant even begin to think about a team until after Paddys day. I would hope he will give his proposed starting 15 a start for the league 1/4 final. It might give us some idea of whether or not he is on the right track
I agree a lot of it depends on the form of the Na Piarsaigh lads coming back in.
For example, to me it looks like he is keeping the no.5 spot warm for Ronan Lynch. He is playing Dan Morrissey there, who I have good time for, but in reality he is not going to be anywhere near it come Cship. If R Lynch has a good club final he will be given a run at 5 and id say he is being thought of there.
I like Gavin at 11 but i think it best for the team if he is played at 7. Byrnes at 6. If a switch is needed he can be moved into 6 and Byrnes onto the wing.
That poses the big questionâŚthe current elephant in the room. The dropping of Seamus Hickey from the starting 15 for the Championship or even the latter part of the leagueâŚ
Not in ten million years will ronan lynch be anywhere near the half back line for limerick under teege this year ffs.
Ronan Lynch could very well force his way into the HB line this Summer. How many NAP players do ye think will make the final panel lads? and also will Peter Casey make the squad this year?
Iâve heard of giving young lads time, butâŚ
If Ronan makes it this year pal which Iâm not so sure that he will, it will be off the bench coming on somewhere in the front six.
His a good bit off intercounty standard as a HB imo. His still very young.
Some lads losing the run of themselves here.
We wouldânt have it any other way.
The thought of heading out to those cunts in a league decider has me buzzing already.
Heâs, for fuck sake heâs
That post made me laugh mate, Iâll never change.
The centre backs on most all Ireland club finalist teams are usually in or around county team standard. Especially when they are one of the outstanding players on the team.
Casey (x2) should be on the panel, if youâre good enough youâre old enough.
What age is peter? 18?
Yep
Both Casey brothers have huge futures ahead of them in the Limerick jersey Glas, but saying that Peter is out of the equation until July with his LC to sit, and Michael is at a huge disadvantage to Richie English/Tom Condon due to club commitments.
Sean Finn doing the cruciate will definitely see him take his place on the championship panel, both brothers have huge Limerick hurling futures ahead of them.
Peter Caseyâs achievements/medals so far in the game havenât been seen before in limerick hurling.
Fellas saying Ronan Lynch is miles off Inter County Half Back standard should look at our other options ffs
